Senior Mangement Symptoms-MUST READ!!

I was thinking of how to write these in my blog. Not that I am worried or scared, but I never portray myself working for a company for my entire life.

I think of simplified it. Please take note that not all the senior management but majority have these symptoms:

  1. Working in a company for more than 10 years which always think that he/she knows everything of the outside world- but actually he/she doesn't know
  2. Do not feel secure and always try to pick on their own staffs
  3. Calculative of every single things
  4. Do not trust anyone, always thinking the staffs are cheating their company.Actually they are cheating on themselves (Psychologically). Other words, feeling insecure.
  5. Always changing work policy (day to day) like the emperor of China during few thousand years ago.
  6. Always think that he/she is the key person which holds the responsibility and does not let go or delegate their job and making the entire business hard for others.Scared of being replaced by new comers.
  7. Always twist and turn issues.
  8. Taking advantage on employees (Training on weekends, long hour meetings until midnight...etc etc)
  9. Never give a clear answer, the answer is always neutral (no right or wrong) To avoid responsibility.
  10. Two face. Smile in front of you but stab you at the back.
  11. More than 40 years old

If you have the above symptoms, you better do something. Because non of any young staffs like me like it.Either you change your fucking attitude(which you can't) or start to act like one motherfucking responsible manager. Or, one day, people like me will cut you loose and you have nothing at the end.

One of my friend reminded me that, if a company cannot function without one or 2 person, this company is not healthy. Why should all the operation depends only on a few person, I do not think senior management means that they are capable. The fact is that a lot of them do not even hold a higher qualification academically. And if you told me that it's their experienced that they had, Fuck that! Experienced is the root of this fucking slavery working environment which had not been improving for the past 10 years. Sad but True! Why? Because their experience is limit to only 1 or 2 or maybe 3 companies. that they had worked in.You called that experienced?

Let me put you through a fucking sensitive email which I had try to clarify with my management and you be the judge (it's sensitive, but fuck it):

Scenario: We are ask to go for a training during a government declared state holiday. So I wrote an email to my HR like below:

"Dear XXX:

Jut a quick one. There will be a training on the 27th Nov 2009(Hari Raya Haji) which falls on company's declared public holiday. Is there any replacement? Since I believe that our labour law did mentioned about replacement.
Thank You!
"

Then My HR had mentioned this to the management for clarification as below:

"
Dear Both, (the 2 important people which the whole company cannot function without them)
Please response to the following request. According to the law, we need to grant them a replacement holiday. It is a gazetted holiday by Federal Government. "

Then one of them replied ( you know who!) This company is not so big to guest the person.

"
Dear Chew,
I would appreciated if you communicate this matter to me instead of (HR personnel) or at lease put me in the loop, first of all I'm your immediate supervisor, I'm liable to advise you, how should
you behave as a manager and don't carry mentality that the sales man have.
The matter you bring up is also a valid fact, but however as a management staff we also must understand our responsibility & accountability as well as what are priorities, especially
at this moment all of us are not achieving our target, we are under observation by RA, rightfully we should put ourselves on probation until the shortfall is recovered, during this probation
period we have to work harder & ensure every area must cover well and don't lose out of any opportunity, thus the training is schedule on the weekend where there is no interruption of your
business activities, unfortunately, one of the day - 27th which is a public holiday, but however, I still find the training is priority, because we have no knowledge on this product and don't know where
is the target market, it will be more benefit to you when you capture the skill of selling this high end PP product than a replacement of leave.
Our company is very concerned and put high attention on this new product - Aegis, after the first round training done to us, we don't seem to know how to do prospecting, that's why RA is
offering a refresher training to us which is their good initiative, hoping with this training will help us in the Aegis sales which to catch up the company target,
Your concern is acknowledge but sorry that we have to drive for priority, on the replacement of leave I'll let HR to make the decision.
"

There is no conclusion at all, at end of the day this simple little message are thrown back to HR again.(Pushing responsibility again and not willing to take the responsibility)So, did I asked the wrong dept in the 1st place? I don't think so.

I do not think they will like it but I don't really give a fucking shit! So, I replied without hesitation:

"
Dear XXX,
As for this matter, I am just looking for an answer and it's a very simple and straight forward. That is why this is meant to be HR's area to response to this enquiry.
As a fellow employee, we are only asking of what we are puzzled of whereas we do have a sense of responsibility and also rights to know what is the outcome.
Since there is a lot of grey area which are not very clear to us. Isn't it that we are supposed to ask? Because in the first place, we are not being brief about things of which part of the things we are actually entitled for. (except for sales, profit and KPI which falls under our responsibility).Other than that, I really don't know what else am I entitle to.
In fact ,please don't get me wrong,I am only seeking for a yes or no answer. I did not even mentioned about not attending the training.
I am here to work and earning a living, but I can't work which puzzles me.
As a manager we need ti educate people, but if I don't get things straight, how am I suppose to convince my fellow workers.
If I had offended you in any way I am sorry, but this is just part of me to seek the truth and righteous.
Thank You!
"

So, stop toying us around and stop the bollockings!Simple things like this is just the start and still can't give me a straight answer. What the fuck is wrong with your tiny little fucking brains? This is called Senior management staff resolving the issue? I am afraid not!
